Pachamama
Synopsis
16th century. Tepulpaï, a little Indian boy from the Andes, and his best friend Naïra live happily in their village in the heart of the Peruvian mountains.
One day, as the villagers celebrate Mother Earth Pachamama, an Inca procession arrives to collect taxes. "What a waste! Throwing away part of the harvest, what a primitive custom!" The Inca tax collector is furious, because what's left isn't enough to pay the tax. As punishment, and in the name of Inti the Sun God, he decides to take the village's sacred Huaca and offer it to the Great Inca.
For Tepulpaï, it's a chance to finally show what he can do! Secretly, he leaves the village in search of the idol to save his people.
